Jury at stalemate in Danny Masterson rape trial; deliberations to resume after Thanksgiving break
Masterson, 20, is accused of the April 2012 rape of a 19-year-old at a home on East Fourth Street and Paseo Colorado in Santa Ana last year. He’s charged with rape, oral copulation with a minor and lewd or lascivious act with a child under the age of 14.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Baugh, sitting in a room on the second floor of City Hall, has deliberated for more than two days without deciding on a verdict. Baugh said Thursday that he’s leaning towards acquittal.
